You can choose a traditional gas-powered car, a hybrid or plug-in hybrid with electric assistance, or go fully electric and rely solely on battery power. With long-term EV plans being scaled back, many manufacturers are shifting their focus to hybrids and the next generation of internal combustion engines. That should make for a more diverse market over the next few years, with automakers offering a little something for everyone. With that in mind, automakers have a host of new vehicles planned over the next few months—from sedans and SUVs to hybrids and EVs. Here are just some of the cars expected to debut later this year. Audi RS6 Top Videos: The 2026 Nissan Sentra Just Got a Big Upgrade | First Look Watch More Price: $140,000 (est.) Rejoice, wagon fans—Audi is prepping a fresh version of the RS6 Avant, and this one will likely pack well north of 700 horsepower. This latest RS6 should move to a plug-in-hybrid powertrain, just like the recently revealed RS5 Avant, but it will likely have a V8. Audi’s bigger badass wagon should also share similar design language, like the restyled front fascia and the interesting exhaust setup out back. There’s no doubt the updated RS6 will be heavier, but the potential power should more than offset the weight gain. Bentley Urban SUV Tell us what you think! View 36 Comments Price: $150,000 (est.) Bentley is downsizing (slightly) with a smaller, electric SUV slotted just beneath the Bentayga. For now, the automaker simply calls it its “Urban SUV,\” but the baby Bentayga should have an actual name before it debuts in 2026 and goes on sale early in 2027. We still don’t know details like price, performance, or range. BMW 3 Series / EV Price: $50,000 (est.) Following the debut of the iX3 electric SUV later this year, BMW will unveil its new 3 Series in 2026—complete with gas and electric powertrain options. Based loosely on the Neue Klasse concept, the new 3 Series will pair dramatic, retro looks with a swathe of gas engines and a fully electric battery pack. BMW iX4 Price: $60,000 (est.) We’ve already seen the iX3, now BMW could revive its controversial crossover coupe body style on an electric SUV in the form of the upcoming iX4. Destined to debut in the second half of this year, the iX4 will use the same platform as the iX3 and have many of the same Neue Klasse design cues—albeit with a swoopier roof. Power will likely come from the same 108.0-kilowatt-hour battery, and the output should be around 470 horsepower. BMW iX5 Price: $75,000 (est.) BMW should have multiple SUV debuts on the docket this year. Alongside the iX4, the German automaker will also debut the larger iX5 before the end of the year. Like the upcoming i3, the iX5 will have both gas and electric powertrains, as well as a plug-in hybrid. BMW has even confirmed a hydrogen fuel-cell model, but that version won’t show up until at least 2028. Dodge Charger Hellcat / V8 Price: $80,000 (est.) Dodge fully understands that its customers crave V8 power under the hood of the Charger. Rather than stuff a 5.7-liter or 6.4-liter mill in the nose of the car, Dodge appears poised to go full Hellcat for this one. That move makes sense considering the other V8 options are actually less powerful than the Hurricane twin-turbocharged straight-six models. The Charger Hellcat won’t be cheap, but it will be loud and rowdy, which is exactly what Dodge fans want. Ferrari Luce EV Price: $535,000 (est.) Blasphemy from Maranello approaches, reader. Ferrari’s first electric car is set to debut this year, and all we’ve seen is the Jony Ive interior and some prototype shots. Ferrari says the typical marketing line—it won’t be an EV. It’ll be a Ferrari EV. So it will be hugely powerful, expensive, and likely carry a similar form factor to the V12-powered Purosangue. The new Ferrari Luce is scheduled to break cover on May 25. Genesis GV90 Price: $100,000 (est.) The slow rollout of new Genesis models continues with a full-size all-electric flagship SUV slotted above the Kia EV9 and recently released Hyundai Ioniq 9. The GV90 is likely to be a three-row crossover with streamlined styling and ample interior space for all occupants to stretch out. Expect an elevated price tag when it faces off against the Lucid Gravity. Jaguar Type 00 Price: $130,000 (est.) Despite troubled waters at Jaguar, the company is forging ahead with turning its stunning concept into reality. The Type 00 sedan will be an EV grand tourer that will relaunch Jaguar into the current decade after years of languishing with an aging lineup and waning consumer interest. They say all PR is good PR, and with a poorly received rebrand, all eyes are on Jaguar to make its next move. Mercedes-AMG GT XX Price: $150,000 (est.) Of all the concepts on this list, the Mercedes-AMG GT XX looks closest to production. Details have been released on its tri-motor all-electric powertrain, such as a claimed output of 1,341 horsepower and an estimated top speed of 233 miles per hour. Billed as a “four-door supercar,” the GT XX should have impressive specs to go with its equally impressive price tag. Polestar 4 Variant Price: $65,000 (est.) The Polestar 4 electric SUV coupe… thing is already in dealerships, but the EV maker has more plans for its funkiest vehicle. The current Polestar 4 will be joined by a second variant scheduled to debut later this year. What exactly will it be? It’s unclear, but Polestar says it is \”targeting a wider customer base by offering more versatility.\” The most likely option is a wagon to rival the Porsche Taycan, complete with a rear window. Porsche 718 Boxster / Cayman EV Price: $80,000 (est.) Porsche’s first foray into the EV sports car market isn’t going as planned. Despite delays in development, it seems that the mid-engine (mid-battery?) coupe and roadster twins are going ahead, with production of the gas models slated to end before the year is out. Although we wouldn’t be surprised if plans get tweaked, as Porsche has extended the lifespan of the gas-powered Macan. Rivian R2 Price: $45,000 (est.) The electric adventure brand expands its lineup for the first time with the introduction of the R2. Slotted below the R1S/R1T utes, the R2 is a boxy compact crossover with a target starting price of $45,000. As with the others, there are countless ways to customize the R2, with the power to choose one, two, or three electric motors for the drivetrain. Rivian is in a more fortuitous position than other EV makers, as it hasn’t experienced delays that impede its launch date in 2026. Slate Truck Price: $30,000 (est.) Slate’s ultra-affordable, ultra-barebones truck is due to arrive this year. Despite the landscape of EVs changing drastically since the truck’s ultra-splashy debut and sub-$20,000 subsidized price tag, Slate is forging on. While details about pricing in a post-EV rebate world are limited, expect the truck to start in the low $20,000 range, and all you’ll get is an unpainted, infotainment-less work truck that you can customize to your taste.
